Actually, I think that the utter defeat was the ideal idea for now.
If you think about the legacy of the previous arc, you are suposse to remember that Luffy raised his strenght and came up with some new awesome techniques, which was totally helpfull in the winning of enies lobby arc. Also, Sanji and Zoro came up with some new skills. What happened previously the Enies Lobby arc? The defeat by an admiral, Aokiji.

Interesting chapter, not as good as last one. Anyways, kira is a bad little mofo, his shikai is actually very cool. Any opponent that has no clue about its abilities would be f-ed.

Sasuke activates Amaterasu, and sets Killerbee on fire.
Killer Bee is screaming in pain as it goes down, seemingly dying.
Sasuke asks if Team Hawk is okay, and Karin says that they got to take out the fire, or else Killerbee will die. Suigetsu is slowly regenerating.
Sasuke says that he won't let Killer Bee live just because Madara ordered him to. Killerbee had hurted his friends, and Sasuke no longer wanted to help Madara reach his goals. Teak Hawk are speechless.
Suddenly, Killerbee sits up, says "Fooled!", as an aura of his puts out the Amaterasu fire.
Team Hawk is in shock, and a giant tentacle from Killerbee is about to hit them, but they all dodge. |
